32 Anoa "Rimau" Pesanan Malaysia

AFB - PT Pindad (Persero) semakin sibuk menerima tawaran atau pesanan mobil tempur panser jenis Anoa, salah satunya dari Malaysia. Negeri Jiran ini berharap bisa segera memboyong 32 unit seharga miliaran rupiah itu.

Panser Anoa merupakan salah satu produk kendaraan berlapis baja unggulan Badan Usaha Milik Negara (BUMN) yang berbasis di Bandung. Pindad sendiri merupakan perusahaan manufaktur yang menyediakan berbagai produk mesin seperti generator, senjata, kendaraan tempur, amunisi untuk militer.

Menurut Direktur Utama Pindad, Adik Avianto Soedarsono, proses kesepakatan order dengan Malaysia telah melewati tahapan mulai dari konsep, pengiriman delegasi Malaysia ke Indonesia, uji coba, sertifikasi hingga tahapan negosiasi.

"Jadi tinggal satu proses lagi, yaitu proses administrasi. Kami tinggal menunggu legal binding, dan kontrak penawaran tanpa syarat (unconditional letter of offer) dari pihak Malaysia," ungkap dia saat dihubungi.

Lebih jauh Adik menjelaskan, pihaknya tidak bisa memproduksi Panser Anoa pesanan Malaysia bila proses terakhir itu belum terlaksana. Pasalnya ini menyangkut prosedur atau perizinan dalam pembelian perlengkapan militer antar negara.

"Malaysia memang minta 32 unit Panser Anoa tersebut bisa dikirim tahun ini. Tapi kami tidak mau kalau proses administrasi belum dipenuhi, sebab produksi Panser paling cuma perlu waktu 2 bulan. Yang lama itu mendatangkan onderdil, pelek dengan waktu 8 bulan," papar dia.

"KOMODO" Latest 4x4 Tactical Vehicle Production PINDAD

AFB - Komodo. That was a name that given to PT Pindad latest 4×4 tactical vehicle. The President of Republic of Indonesia officially named this vehicle to the endemic animal from Indonesia at Indo Defence Expo and Forum, last November 2012. The President had a hope that the tactical vehicle could be strong and tough at any combat field and could bring the glory for Indonesia.

If we looked back to the past, on October 26^th 2011, President visited weaponry system exhibition at PT Indonesian Aerospace. He gave a challenge to Pindad Product Development Team to make a 4×4 tactical vehicle.

The Special Vehicle Division technicians agreed and then the journey to create the tactical vehicle was officially started.

The project was started at November 2011. The Product Development Team from Special Vehicle Division was busy designing the vehicle. They did the benchmarking by observing various design of similar tactical vehicles from many countries, such as Oskkosh which used by US Army, AMPV from Germany, Aravis and Sherpa from France, and many others. They also did the Reverse Engine process in order to know what kind of machine that suitable for this kind of vehicle. The designing process was ended at January 2012 with an outcome one design which chosen by the management and continued by the making of this vehicle prototype.

The decision to make this kind of vehicle wasn’t without a solid reason. The making process was based on the direction of combat vehicle evolution at the future. The direction of combat vehicle changing will lead to size shrinkage of the vehicle. The combat vehicle won’t prioritize the gigantic size, but the smaller vehicle yet managed to move swiftly and survived at the combat field.

Even though the size wasn’t as big as the other combat vehicle like Anoa Panser, the tactical vehicle still could manage to stay strong at combat field because the production process consistently paid attention to three things that should be noted at combat vehicle making process. First is mobility, the movement capability to avoid the enemy attack and also the capability to move at a difficult field. Second is survivability, the capability to survive from enemy attack by using the bulletproof body. And last is fire power, the power to attack the enemy, by shooting back at them.

Some of Komodo Variants

The outcome of the Product Development team of Special Vehicle Division designing process, was the good response from the defence industry circles. Since the vehicle prototype was joined in exhibitions, many parties were interested to the physical condition of the vehicle which is not that big, but still impressed strong and dashing. Even more, PT Pindad also gave an authority to the client to decide what kind of design which would be applied to Komodo, based on its function.

After that, an offering and contract agreements were made. Until this time, some parties recorded had ordered Komodo. BRIMOB (Paramilitary Police Force) already ordered two units of Komodo which had customized into a “Jungle Warfare” tactical vehicle. This vehicle was especially designed for a city movement and chasing until jungle area.

Different from BRIMOB, KOPASSUS (Indonesian Army Special Force) already ordered Komodo which had customized into a “Battering Ram” vehicle. KOPASSUS has a unit which called Gultor (Penanggulangan Teror, Terror Countermeasures). This unit has a task to overcome all kind of terror, such as kidnapping, bomb threat, and many others. Hence, they need a vehicle which not only has a function as the movement equipment, but also as terror countermeasures tools, one of them is to destroy a building.

The establishment of Law number 16 year 2012, which require that international cooperation should use a local content, also gave an advantage to PT Pindad and this Komodo project. Until now recorded some of potential buyers which came from international client and stated their interest to Komodo and still on cooperation assessment process.

The Komodo project was estimated to have a bright future. Not only because the evolution of combat vehicle size was becoming smaller, but also this kind of vehicle will be the wanted vehicle which many peoples would looked for. Plus, the Ministry of Defence is busy to fill the Minimum Essential Force for the weaponry system and PT Pindad always be the first choice for the land dimension sector fulfillment. Mengenal "Anoa" : Panser “made in Indonesia”

AFB - Ada ranpur TNI yang paling banyak disorot tahun ini, itu tak lain adalah Anoa. Panser dari jenis APS (angkut personel sedang)-3, atau bisa disebut APC (armoured personnel carrier). Alasanya, pertama Anoa adalah panser besutan lokal (PT. Pindad) yang dirancang dengan bodi Monocoque Armoured, desainnya bisa dibilang mencontoh panser TNI AD sebelumnya, yakni VAB buatan Perancis. Bahkan Anoa berpenggerak roda 6×6. Alasan kedua, Anoa adalah panser dengan kualifikasi amfibi pertama yang dibuat di dalam negeri.

Dan, tak kalah penting, Anoa mendapat pengakuan internasional, ini dibuktikan dengan minat dari Oman, Malaysia, Nepal, dan Bangladesh untuk membeli Anoa. Boleh dibilang, Anoa adalah flagship kavaleri Indonesia, apalagi Anoa telah dilbatkan dalam satuan batalion mekanis Kontingen Garuda di Lebanon. Informasi terakhir, 13 unit Anoa telah dikirim ke Lebanon untuk memperkuat Satgas Batalyon Mekanis TNI Kontingen Garuda XXIII-D/UNIFIL.

Selain alasan-alasan diatas, Anoa kerap menarik perhatian warga, khususnya di Jakarta, sebab beberapa unit Anoa digadang sebagai ranpur Paspampres. Tak jarang Anoa terlihat “nongkrong” ibarat hiasan tanpa persenjataan di area kediaman Presiden dan Wakil Presiden.

Dari segi desain, panser ini rasanya memang “menyadur ” desain panser VAB besutan GIAT Perancis. Tapi Anoa dihadirkan dengan penyempurnaan, selain suspensi yang lebih baik, Anoa mempunyai kubah tempat penembak depan yang terpisah. Bandingkan pada VAB, kubah penembak SMB (senapan mesin berat) tepat berada di samping pengemudi, tentu posisi ini kurang ergonomis bagi penembak. Untuk itulah pada Anoa dilakukan penyempurnaan. Alhasil ukuran Anoa lebih panjang sedikit ketimbang VAB.

Masih ada perbedaan lain, bila VAB menggunakan kemudi sebelah kiri (standar Eropa), maka Anoa mengadopsi letak kemudi di kanan (standar Indonesia). Nah, untuk yang lain-lainnya bisa dibilang Anoa dan VAB ibarat pinang dibelah dua. Contohnya Anoa menggunakan tipe mesin yang sama dengan VAB, yakni Renault MIDR 062045 inline 6 cylinder turbo-charged diesel. Tentu untuk urusan dapur pacu masih harus di impor dari Perancis. Begitu pula dengan suspensi yang menggunakan Independent suspension, torsion bar masih di impor. Dengan sistem penggerak enam roda simetris, Anoa mampu bergerak lincah di berbagai medan. Termasuk di kemiringan 31 derajat.

Pada Agustus 2008, Pindad mendapat order 150 unit Anoa dari Departemen Pertahanan. Hingga produksi ke 30, plat baja Anoa masih impor, selanjutnya plat baja akan dipasok oleh PT. Krakatau Steel. Mengenai performa plat baja, performanya mampu mehanan hantaman peluru kaliber 5,56 dan 7,62 mm. Anoa dilapisi dengan baja khusus yang telah memenuhi standar level III NATO.

Untuk persenjataan, ada dua pilihan yang ditawarkan, yakni pelontar granat AGL 40 atau SMB 12,7 mm. Untuk menghindar dari sergapan lawan, Anoa juga dibekali pelontar granat asap 2 x3 66 mm. Sejak diperkenalkan pertama kali pada Hari ulang Tahun TNI ke-61 di Cilangkap – Jakarta (5/10/2006). Anoa telah dikembangkan dalam beberapa varian, seperti versi ambulance, komando, logistik, armoured recovery, surveillance, dan versi pelontar mortir.

Bahkan panser amfibi ini lebih hebat lagi berhasil dikembangkan ke versi kanon. Untuk versi kanon, desainnya lumayan sangar dengan mengadopsi kanon tipe Cockerill 90 mm Mk III, serupa dengan yang digunakan pada tank Scorpion 90. Tapi sayang, belum ada pesanan mengalir untuk Anoa versi kanon. (Haryo Adjie Nogo Seno)
